More Resident Evil 4

I’m making a lot of RE4 entries and not making much progress because I really only get half an hour at a time to spend on gaming these days. I just seem to be very busy all the time. Anyway, last night was fun – charging into a room full of scary monk types (with

No games, just lots and lots of snow.

It was bizarre. It took 45 minutes to do a 5 minute drive, because the wheels kept on spinning and the car was skiting all over the road. People had given up on our hill and just abandoned their cars at the road end, the schools were closed, and the kids were having a great

The castle prison sequence is sheer brilliance. I ended up being killed because I was giggling maniacally like a silly person. Best. Game. Ever.

Gaaaaaaah! Now I’m the first to admit that my wee lad (Matthew) is a bit of a sharpshooter when it comes to gunning down Imperial Scum, but why does he always have to choose ME? Honestly – there’s no escaping the wee beggar. — Now Playing — God Save the Queen from the album “Never

Gah, episode 3 is creepy. Particularly in the sound department. It’s quite reminiscent of the Cradle in Thief 2, but with a lot more spooky blokes lurching around the place. Harvest Moon – Friends of Mineral Town (GBA)

This one has been getting quite a bit of play recently, due to the sheer loveliness of the Nintendo DS’s screens. Having a proper backlight, rather than the frontlight of the SPs, is just lovely. Only downside is that my right hand (on the buttons) gets a little cramped after extended play on the DS.

No – it was the RIGHT choice. Gubbing the dirty great stompy thing is hard enough without thon silly girl dashing around getting herself killed. I thought I may be able to leg it past the thing, but it just takes too long to shoot the chains off the door. I think I’ll take my

Resident Evil 4 (Gamecube)

That was an exciting hour! A phenomenal pitched gun battle in a cottage, with some unexpected help. Was beaten upstairs and fought the nasty blighters off with incendiary grenades, but we won in the end. Only to be faced with a tough choice. Lots of small nasties or one big nasty. Still smarting from my
