Shakespeare in Ned
A brief google appears to indicate that no one seems to have taken the time to translate any of the works of William Shakespeare into the dialect of Neds. This is a crime. If only I had the time or energy to put it right.

I’m taking a leaf out of RedSmartie’s book here and doing a quick run down. 2008, all in all, his been pretty grim. So many things that were fine before seem to be irrepairably broken and as the months went by I just seem to have lost the energy or will to try and fix
FAIL
Clearly, I lose at blog updating. It’s the whole Christmas thing that causes it. Rushing about, worrying, not getting any sleep, worrying some more, and then – finally – the long soulless purgatory that is January. Chilly for June
It’s -3.5 degrees outside (that’s Celsius, for those heathens who use the ‘F’ system). Which is chilly, but nice. It was about the same temperature yesterday as well, which made marching along Linlithgow High Street while playing a tuba interesting. Still, it was nice and christmassy. And cold. Oh so very cold.
Rediscovery
 I’ve been having a rummage through my music collection and listening to some stuff from the seventies and eighties (yeah, alright – I’m an old crumbly who was listening to music way back then). Anyway, I rediscovered Saxon! I’ve been ploughing through such epic albums as “Strong Arm of the Law”, “Denim & Leather”
