Our insurance company has organised a semi-permanent place to stay while the house is being repaired. It’s an old victorian house in Dalkeith and, as surrogate homes go, it’s very beautiful. Tum te tum. Ever have one of those indescribably bad fortnights at work? Rubbish, aren’t they? The company I work for is in the gruesome throes of acquiring another, meaning we have to punt all their sites across to our servers. Trouble is, the new company host on Windows 2000 and we host on UNIX.
