Leaving Navyblue

It’s often said that everything has to come to an end eventually. In the case of root canal treatment, this is a good thing. In the case of a particularly fiery vindaloo, it’s not so good. Leaving Navyblue is definitely very close to the incendiary curry end of the spectrum (or rectum, if you prefer).

It’s a strange place – it’s not simply paid employment, but rather a group of friends working together to a collective goal. I’ve made a lot of good friends there and have enjoyed my time with them, on the whole, immensely.

But, the last sensations of burning depart, it’s time to move on to other things. So that’s what I’m doing. Not literally, of course, cos I’m sitting in my living room typing and looking forward to a weekend with my family, but figuratively.

And I really wish I hadn’t used that vindaloo analogy because it’s destroying my brain.
