Hmmm – where to start? Well, I started playing DAoC during the original beta test, way back when. I think, all in, I played for about a year and a bit and got some quite high level characters. Anyway, a friend at work has been nagging me to play for months and I succumbed.

A few things – it’s a hugely different (and much better, in my opinion) game than it was way back when. The instance dungeons and taskmaster system in particular are ACE. I did the bothersome levels 1-5 in one fell swoop last night, so my Acolyte is about to become a Heretic. I like the idea of a brown robed religious type who has the ability to use whips and nukes 🙂
