Tum te tum. Ever have one of those indescribably bad fortnights at work? Rubbish, aren’t they? The company I work for is in the gruesome throes of acquiring another, meaning we have to punt all their sites across to our servers. Trouble is, the new company host on Windows 2000 and we host on UNIX. Which means we’ve had to set up a Windows 2000 server as a temporary stop gap until we can get the sites ported across to a platform that isn’t flakey and full of security holes. Lovely.
Anyway, enough of work (cos it’s really not that interesting), and back to the interesting (!) stuff. Debbie’s Animal Crossing habit is picking up steam – it’s an hour a day at present, and looks like it may be growing. I, on the other hand, have been nursing an unhealthy “Golden Sun” addition on the GBA while continuing to nurture my Zelda problem on the Cube. Gak.
Tristan is pretty much full time (bar an afternoon) at school, now, which is splendid – he’s really pleased with himself (and we’re pleased with him as well). Matthew is, erm, five. And a very aggressive five – we think he’s copying Harmony. Littly Dotty is just little Dotty – obviously female, as she has all the males in the family exactly where she wants them. Harrumph.
Not a huge amount of stuff been happening – oh, except we managed to find a peach in Animal Crossing. I planted it, to grow a peach tree, and then inadvertantly chopped it down :-z C’est la Vie
