Oblivion (360)
I haven’t really posted about this game, despite having been completely sucked into it. As I’ve just crossed the 10 hour mark, I though I may as well give a brief summary of what’s happened so far.
Well, I escaped from the prison and did all the class creation stuff. I turned out to be a Wood Elf Rogue, favouring sneaking and creeping to charging about in shiny armour. I headed off, as per instructions, to start off the main quest and was pointed in the direction of the heir to the throne, languishing in Kvatch.
On the way there, I bumped into a bloke who was having some problems with bears, so I killed them all. Then accidentally killed him cos I didn’t realise I could yield in a fight with an NPC.
So, I got to Kvatch and discovered it’s been laid to waste because some Bad Things came through an Oblivion gate. As was my duty, I popped through the Oblivion gate and closed it. Then I was invited to storm the city itself to clear out the last of the baddies. First, though, I thought I’d have a nap to level up.
At this point, a representative of the Dark Brotherhood – an assassins guild – appeared and offered me a job. So I took it, and went off and joined the guild who gave me another target – a bloke I had to set up to make his death look accidental. While in the town where the mark lives, I managed to fall foul of an alleged Vampire Slayer and ended up involved in a big complicated quest chain to put him to justice. Oh, and I uncovered one of the town lords as a nasty piece of work and had him arrested. And I got stuck in a painting as well, and had to kill lots of painted trolls to get back out. That was REALLY hard.
I also had to sneak onto a pirate ship and kill the captain! Pirates are ACE. Anyway, that was done, but only by the skin of my teeth. Then I got a suspicious note inviting me to join the thieves guild, which I did after a bit of wrangling. Then I decided to go and ransack some peoples houses to get some stuff to fence so I can get bigger jobs from the guild.
And I also have to assassinate someone who is – well – in prison. I have to sneak into the dungeons of the imperial city and get him right under the noses of the guards.
Did I mention there’s a lot to do in this game? I really should get back to the main quest at some point……

Here’s hoping that Two Worlds will be a good Oblivon-type rpg. I’m really pining for Oblivion but I’d also played it too death.
If your a rogue there is a hidden bow in one of the oblivion levels, the one were there is a tower 180deg behind where you start (save then enter). South of the tower is a cave entrance it’s in there. Stunning stats.

It’s looking like Fallout 3 is going to be very much like Oblivion. I bloody hope so!
