Castlevania – Circle of the Moon (GBA)
Death == DEAD. Again. On the first attempt, and only taking a few HP damage. Fortunately, while grinding up to level 35 in the area immediately before him, I was able to farm three or four high mind-ups, meaning I could zap the bony horror with four or five well timed Thunderbird Summons. Can’t help thinking that this particular card is slightly imbalanced, making the bosses from now on pretty easy in a game that’s otherwise rock hard. Still, I may yet eat my words.
Anyhoo – I can now cleanse the nasty poisony waters in the other area, so I guess that’s where I have to head next. Woot!

You’ve clearly been reading my diary – I seem to recall mentioning Thunderbird Summons 🙂

Indeed I have. In my defence, though, I assumed the effect of the Thunderbird Summons would be relative to my level – not completely awe-inspiring 🙂

Apparently the Cockatrice summon is even *more* powerful.
