It’s madness – madness, I tell you!

Right now, we’re attempting to bring some form of order to the kids’ rooms. As we’re moving out on the 7th April to take up temporary residence in rented accomodation, we need to work out what is going into storage before being shipped to Oz, and what we’re taking with us to the rented house.

Currently, I’m shuddering to think of the cost of shipped ten years worth of Beanos and Dandys to the other side of the Earth. Strangely, though, despite the hideous mess the boys are able to create in their room, there really isn’t that much stuff. We’re not taking furniture with us (anyone want a sofa?) so it’s just toys, personal items, games, books and clothes. We’d be really struggling to fill even a ten foot container, but we’ve found a door-to-door removal company who deal in part-containers, so that should prove quite cost effective.

We were quite touched to discover that our sponsor in Australia has been looking at bunk beds for the kids – I think they’re more excited than we are!
