Castlevania – Circle of the Moon (GBA)
Except the fiery lava place isn’t the next area to be explored! While on my upgrade collecting payback trip around the castle (ok, so I was leathering hell out of anything that moved in the machine tower) I spotted a tiny little one-pixel unexplored doorway on the map. Rather than leading to the expected health/heart/mana upgrade, it’s led to an underground warehouse (which is inexplicably full of books, bookshelves, and floating phantom furniture – go figure).
Fortunately, it also contains a handy savepoint because me health was getting remarkably low by this time. So – new adventures ahoy! I love Castlevania, me.
