Castlevania – Circle of the Moon (GBA)

Circle of the Moon coverZombie Dragons Zombiefied! In the end, they’re pretty easy if you use your noodle and have a bit of patience. Basically, if you stand on the platform above the left hand dragon, none of the attacks except the rock shower from above can hit you. If you then set up your DSS to be Diana and Thunderbird, then you generate a cloud of electricity when you spin the whip. By crouching down and spinning the whip and equipping damage gear, you can whittle away at the left dragon’s health by doing six or seven times 9/10 HP every time the beast does a circuit.

Once that one is out of the way, and the right hand dragon has had a feed (ok, it takes a wee while, but you take no damage in the process), you can drop down and whipporise the right hand dragon to death, only pausing to avoid its fireball attack.

So – beasties dead and I can now shift crates, meaning there’s a whole pile of new areas open to me. Only trouble with using such an abusive boss killing method is that I’m only level 29 and I suspect Death may be coming up quite soon….
