Right. Well, we’ve organised a nice little place to stay in for the few weeks remaining, and have an option of three months should it be needed. It’ll serve nicely as a base for whatever excursions we plan.
Fortunately, the international shippers have managed to squeeze us in on Thursday, despite the horribly short notice we’ve given them, and we’ve managed to find some friends who are interested in some of the furniture we’re not taking.
Medicals tomorrow and we’re feeling surprisingly unstressed, all things considered. Been very busy at work and was expecting to be frantic by now but I’m remarkably laid back. Wish the children were though – oldest announced (at 11pm last night) that he’s too excited to go to sleep because moving is so close
