Stuff that’s not about games
Anyone would think we never actually do anything cos the only time I ever post on here is about video games. Fair enough, we don’t do an awful lot, granted, but we do occasionally do some stuff that involves actually being outside and things.
For example: This weekend, we mainly worked on the garden. Our house is going back on the market this week, due to problems with an earlier sale, so we’re giving it another light going over to make it all shiny and sellable. So, working on the basis that outside is probably cleaner than inside, that’s where we started. Did a good deal of grass cutting and edging, while Debbie did loads of weeding and poking about. Little Matthew, as ever, was a great help and got the pathways all sorted out.
It’s kinda hard to believe that we took the house off the market in January. That’s five months we’ve been essentially hanging in limbo. Still, it’s done now and there’s no point in dwelling on stuff.
So – the kids are out of school at the moment, so it’s going to be full steam ahead for tidying up, spit and polish, and general rushy-about-cleanyness.
Anyhoo – I think this weekend is going to involve a barbeque of some description. Cos I fancy some yummy roasted animal out in the open. Hrrm.
