Houses
Well, another few days on. Our house sale is looming – 7th April is the entry date. While we have no real cause to be concerned, we’re a *teensy* bit worried about everything going according to plan because it’s not a normal sale. We’re trying our best not to worry about things but, as the equity is required for the final parts of the visa process (medical expenses, Assurance bond, etc) we’re getting a little….. tense.
With the new priorities in place, we should be allocated a case officer in the next two weeks, if we haven’t been allocated one already. That means we can expect medical requests in the next couple of months. After that, everything goes pretty quickly.
So, not much else to report. We’ve thinned down a lot of our possessions to only those things we intend taking, with the exception of kitchen appliances and furniture. And our cat. Unfortunately, our old moggie (who is 16) is too old to go, so we need to find a good home for her. It’s pretty distressing, really, as we’ve had her since we were first married.
