I’ve been tinkering today. Had a go of Castlevania and got stuck at a boss. I wasn’t really in the mood for the exploreyness, which is a serious drawback in Castlevania, given that the central drive of the game is colouring in the map.

So, quick go of Fire Emblem. Failed utterley on Chapter 5 because I kept getting people killed. Couldn’t concentrate.

Skipped over to Advance Wars DS. Completed mission 6 easily enough, cos it’s just a training mission. I really should play this more.

Then had a go of ‘Lord of the Rings: Return of the King’ on the GBA, and it reminded me why someone needs to put an injunction on EA writing games. Honestly, they just DON’T GET the Gameboy. Just reproducing a standard console game with scaled down graphics just doesn’t bloody work, guys.

Then I had a go of Super Mario Advance and was completely crap at it. I’m blaming the amount of play on the Micro’s d-pad for my crapness, but I think there’s something a little more sinister at work.

I HAVE POST-PHOENIX-WRIGHT-GAMING-ENNUI.

It always happens after an ACEBEST game. Grrrr.
