Phoenix Wright – Ace Attorney (Nintendo DS)

Right – day one’s investigation is over and I have accumulated quite a pile of (admittedly circumstantial evidence). I’ve also managed to uncover a witness who is likely to be more of a hindrance than a help. There are elements of the case so far which are related to incidents in earlier cases, so I think this one is going to be pretty complex.

This is quite possibly one of the most engrossing games I’ve ever played – I seem to be saying that a lot these days. Perhaps it’s the new gameplay mechanics made available by the DS. More likely, though, it’s the region free nature of the DS and GBA – games which wouldn’t normally get a european release (because they don’t have a number in the title, probably) have become more accessible. Anyhoo, I’m enjoying it a lot.
