Final Fantasy VI (Playstation)

Well, having got my little gang safely inside Narshe, it was time to tackle Sabin’s scenario to find out what he’d been up to ater falling out the boat. Well, he’s made a new friend – Shadow – who happens to have l33t n1nj0r skillz!!11!one! (ahem).

He also has a big doag that he occasionally sets on people in battle. Anyway, after a bit of adventuring, I came across an imperial camp and learned something new. I didn’t think it was possible to loathe a 24×32 pixel sprite, but the imperial commander – Kefka – is a despicable little man, even by Squaresoft enemy standards.

The imperials are invading the castle in which a particularly tough bloke called Cyan lives. Unable to defeat Cyan in combat, Kefka decides he’s going to try an alternative way of conquering. His solution is pretty grim and resulted in Cyan joining my little gang and wreaking bloody vengeance on the imperial forces in stolen magitek armour. As you do.

So, Imperial Camp escaped! Companion get! And I’m off to the south cos I need to pass through a forest to get my party to Narshe.
