Aaaaargh! Is about all I can say, really. A few more (!) hours in now and I can safely say this is my Game of the Year. And it’s only February. It has one of the most satisfying shotguns I’ve ever encountered 🙂 I was a bit sceptical about the lack of zombie at first – I mean it’s resident evil – it’s GOT to have zombies. As it turns out, those scary redneck types are way more threatening than your average run of the mill walking dead. The game actually feels a lot like an interactive John Carpenter movie (assault on precinct 13, for example) or a George A. Romero movie – there’s a lot of paranoia and a definite feeling of being outnumbered and out of depth 🙂
Only downside is its definitely not a game to be played when the kids are about, so it’s evenings only 🙁
