Harvest Moon – Friends of Mineral Town (GBA)
This one has been getting quite a bit of play recently, due to the sheer loveliness of the Nintendo DS’s screens. Having a proper backlight, rather than the frontlight of the SPs, is just lovely. Only downside is that my right hand (on the buttons) gets a little cramped after extended play on the DS. I think it’s probably cos I insist on holding it like a DS. Anyhoo, Harvest Moon is fab, but I was a bit disgruntled to discover that my wee girl had been having a shot (playing with the horsie, no doubt) and had managed to kill off all my carrots and one of my chickens through neglect. Now I have to put up with all the reproachful looks the other villagers keep giving me. Bah.
