Incoming! (part 2)

Woohoo! Our ujournal user has appeared on aboutmylife.net! That means our old entries will soon be recovered. Once they are, there’ll be a chunk of copying and pasting required to get them into moveable type, but then they’ll be safe for ever 🙂 I’m getting quite excited now – our old blog documented some, erm, interesting times; there was Terrapi’s taxi journey, the housefire, redundancy, and all kinds of other stuff in there, going back to (I think) 2001.

Hopefully I’ll have another update later in the day. I’d like to publicly thank the guys at aboutmylife.net for doing this – they’ve put in a lot of hard work to migrate the ujournal DB to a format they can use and rescued the blogs of many thousands of users, all without any reward. Thanks guys! 🙂
