Ah’m gaun hame!
Forty-two minutes until the holidays – hooray! Had a hellish day today. One of our programmers made a slight hiccup in one of his mailing list scripts resulting in one of the recipients receiving 18000 or so emails. Not a happy bunny. As Systems Director, it was muggins job to phone round and apologise. Gaaaah. Still, not as bad as Tuesday and it *is* almost christmas. Still – look on the bright side, Terrapi is still with us (see below!) so it’s not all bad.
On an interesting note – the Standing Order (a rather nice public house on George Street in Edinburgh) had Pictish Ale on tap. It’s a very yummy ale which uses heather as a bittering agent instead of hops.
